Events are key to stimulating visitor demand. If you organise an event, class or workshop there are a number of ways you can work with us to promote your event and the region.
BUNGEO EVENT PROMOTION
To receive free promotion your event/class/workshop should appeal to our target audience, be visitor focused, and ideally fall under our experience pillars of arts & culture, nature & adventure, and eat & drink.
Facebook
Create an event listing on Facebook and tag us or select us to co-host. We will then add your event to our Facebook VisitBunburyGeographe event calendar. The broad reach of social media, its low cost and easy targeting methods make it one of the best ways to interact with current and potential customers.
VisitBunburyGeographe.com.au Event Listing
List your event for FREE on our core marketing tool – visitbunburygeographe.com.au. Submit your event via this link. It will be then sent to the Bunbury Visitor Centre for approval. Imagery is crucial for selling your event so please ensure you load a high res image with no writing (no posters).
Campaigns
We run seasonal (summer, spring, autumn, winter) campaigns, primarily focused around events. One month prior to the beginning of each season, please send through any events/class/workshops you will hold during that season. For example, if you are hosting an event in October (spring), please send through in July/August to be included in the spring campaign which will be released on 1 September. For each event supply a high res image (without writing) and a paragraph description. Also ensure it is loaded on our website (see above), as the campaign will link through to this listing.
The best events will also be included in our seasonal consumer EDM newsletter.
BUNGEO FOUND Magazine
Our popular FOUND magazine is released around October and April each year. Please submit your event for inclusion at least two months prior. Quality, high res images are essential.
